One scan. Seven ways to read it.
Our imaging pipeline turns raw detector data into display modes that each reveal something: density, material composition, object edges, or pseudo-thermal anomalies. Choose a mode below to see the same data from a different angle.
Dual-Energy Discrimination
Two energy spectra are compared to estimate the effective atomic number. The result: blue for inorganic materials such as steel, orange for organic, green for mixed, and black for impenetrable objects.
Flat Panel Detector 16-bit
A 3072 × 3072 matrix with a 139 µm pitch captures 65,536 grey levels per pixel, giving the dynamic range to see through thin cardboard and steel panels in a single exposure.
AI Object Recognition
The object detection model on the HX8 flags suspicious items inside bags in real time, each with a confidence score, without a cloud connection.
Dose-Optimized Exposure
Voltage and current are calibrated per object mode so the lowest possible dose still produces a diagnostic image. Every unit goes through detector calibration and radiation leakage testing before shipping.
From cardboard to anatomy with the same detector.
The same pipeline powers the HX5 for clinical radiography. Anatomical presets lock kV, mA, and exposure time per body region, so field operators get images consistent with a radiology room.
